Why I haven't been updating the blog

So maybe you noticed I never update this blog. Sorry about that. Thing is, I have precious little time to write, and what time I have, I devote to the novel I'm working on. I'm now 52,000 into the 1st re-write, which means I've made a lot of progress, but still am less than halfway through this re-write. Adding to my sense of urgency is the imminent addition of a very small person to our household in the next couple of months, which is pretty much the awesomest thing that's every happened to me, but, y'know, not a lot of writing gonna happen (at least not at first) with an infant wanting to hang out during any and all hours of the day.

So my plan is to get this re-write done by, I don't know, this time next year. So that won't call for a ton of blog updates, y'know? (Those will happen a lot maybe once I'm trying to promote / publish the thing, because SEO).
